EW is reporting that Sage Stallone, the 36-year-old son of actor Slyvester Stallone who was found dead July 13, was laid to rest Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The private memorial took place at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood.
"This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage is our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace," the elder Stallone, 66, said in a statement released on Monday.
Sage Stallone was an actor who appeared with his famous father in 1990's "Rocky V." Though the details surrounding his death continue to be unclear, including an official cause of death, prescription drugs and other items were recovered at his Los Angeles apartment.
