Nissan have revealed that they will be showing off a quartet of concept cars at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The Nissan Juke Nismo and e-NV200 will make their very first European appearances.? Plus Nissan have two concept car world premieres for Geneva too.
This includes the INVITATION hatchback and another model that Nissan are keeping top secret until its Geneva launch.
Nissan?s tone going into the show is decidedly upbeat, following a year where the number of Nissan?s acquired for purchase, lease or finance in Europe soared by 25%.
World premiere for the Nissan INVITATION
Nissan already have two popular hatchbacks available for purchase, lease or finance in Europe.
Now the Nissan INVITATION will be added to the Nissan Juke and Nissan Micra, giving them one of the broadest hatchback ranges in Europe.
Nissan describe the INVITATION as confident and energetic.
Using lightweight construction and cutting-edge engine design technology, the aim of the INVITATION is to be exceptionally economical, compact yet spacious and to package all this is a striking design.
Nissan?s reputation as a technological pioneer is maintained with a selection of safety features not normally seen in everyday hatches.
This includes the bird?s eye Around View Monitor, which has won praise for how dramatically it makes parking easier.
The INVITATION also features the Nissan Safety Shield Technologies, which use the latest camera and sensor technology to alert the driver to possible hazards.
The Nissan INVITATION will be in production and released for purchase, lease and finance in Europe during 2013.
The Nissan e-NV200
Nissan?s new electric vehicle builds on the stunning success of the Nissan LEAF.
Based on the NV200, the e-NV200 concept car delivers emission free transport for up to seven people.
The Nissan Juke Nismo concept
One of the stars of the Tokyo Motor Show back in December, the Juke Nismo showcases Nissan?s ambition to offer premium sporty versions across its production range.
Inspired by Nissan?s famous motorsports heritage, the Juke Nismo will be an exciting addition to the Juke range, although dates when it will be available for purchase, lease or finance have not yet been confirmed.
Building on Nissan?s signature of innovation and excitement
That?s Nissan?s mission, and it certainly looks like they?re succeeding.
Following a policy of building cars in Europe, for Europe, 2011 was Nissan Europe?s best ever year.
In the UK, over 100,000 thousand Nissan?s were obtained for purchase, finance or lease, an increase of 11% on 2010.
The best-selling Nissan range in Europe is the Qashqai, whose popularity continues to grow in its fifth year of production.
